How to Advertise on a Traffic Exchange

     The key to successfully advertise on a Traffic Exchange is to differentiate yourself from the rest of the advertisers, provide key information about your products, and, most importantly, to capture leads.

     The best way to accomplish this is to advertise a page specifically designed to catch the user's attention. These are generally call opt-in page, splash page or squeeze page. Here is an example of a squeeze page:

     This is extremely important because, like a television commercial, you only have about 10-30 seconds to capture your viewers attention before they change the channel, or in this case, move on to the next site. For this reason, it is crucial that you capture the name and email address.

     Once you have the name and email address you can then "sell" to your new lead at a later date through your newsletters or email auto responder.
