Traffic Exchange 101
A quick tutorial (Part 1 of 4)

     A traffic exchange is a website traffic delivery service that provides a system for webmasters, website owners, and internet marketers to exchange visitors with each other.

     A traffic exchange site like Savvy Clicks receives submissions of websites daily. The person who submitted the website then browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable their sites to be viewed by other members through the exchange system. This increases site exposures for everyone involved.

     Traffic exchanges generally enforce a 2:1 or 3:1 credit ratio, meaning members earn 0.5 or 0.33 in credit for visiting one member site, and each credit is translated to one page view for them. However, at Savvy Clicks, better ratios such as 1:1 or higher, can be achieved through our surfing bonus reward system. 1:1.5 (1.5 credits for every page viewed)  surfing ratios can also be obtained through purchasing one of our Monthly or Yearly Ad Packages.

Most traffic exchange also impose a time limit when members are surfing, ranging from 5 seconds to 15 seconds. The person viewing your site has to stay on your site for a predetermined amount of time before they can move on to the next site. Savvy Clicks currently employs a 7 seconds viewing time.
